There is an exciting programme with interactive guided sessions and lots of fun for school children at Zoo and Aquarium Berlin over the Easter holidays. Various guided sessions are on offer: a quiz tour through Aquarium Berlin and a treasure hunt in the Zoo. The highlight this year is the construction of an insect hotel!
Mysterious! Exciting tours in Aquarium Berlin
An animal-themed holiday programme with interesting guided tours can be experienced at the Aquarium. A Zoo guide takes the holiday children on an exciting quiz tour. At 2:30 p.m. on 30 March and 2 April, children from the age of 7 can demonstrate what they know about fish, amphibians and reptiles. The guests can tally up points during an exciting quiz and even win something. The tours last 90 minutes and start in the Aquarium on Budapester Strasse. The culmination of the quiz tour is an animal feeding session which takes place after the winners' ceremony. Those who want to take part in the quiz tours can do so for a fee of 4 euros plus entry.
Put together an insect hotel! Holiday promotion at Zoo Berlin
A Bug's Life: On 10 April you can participate in building an insect hotel under the guidance of the Zoo School guides. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the participants can learn everything about the interesting world of insects and even simultaneously make a contribution to the protection of this fascinating group of species. Together with Zoo Berlin, we shall put together an insect hotel entirely from natural materials and in doing so, provide a new home to many of the "wild" species of Berlin. The children can also take a look at the insect world of the Aquarium while on a joint guided tour. Those between the ages of 8 and 12 can take part. We shall start at the Zoo School. Tickets for the insect hotel building programme cost 30 euros with entry included.
Tickets can be booked in advance at the Zoo ticket offices for all events. Ticket reservations are not possible. Children from the age of 10 can also participate without being accompanied by an adult.
