Current restrictions

Like at any modern aquarium, work at Aquarium Berlin is never really done. We are constantly trying to improve the Aquarium to make it a better place and more beautiful for animals and visitors alike. That is why you may come across construction work during your visit. Below you can find information on current construction projects and other restrictions.

Reconstruction landscape tanks

Due to construction work, the landscape tanks (Arapaima, Piranha and Co.) on the first floor can currently not be viewed by visitors. Sharks and Co. can be visited regularly.
