Children under 12 years of age and any visitors who lack the necessary maturity or require permanent supervision due to a mental and/or physical condition must be accompanied and supervised on the premises at all times by an adult chaperone.

* Zoo and Aquarium Berlin must be visited on the same day and the site may not be left in the meantime. Please note that there may be waiting times when entering the Aquarium. Combined day tickets are available by 3 PM at the latest for the respective visiting day.

** Only valid in combination with a corresponding proof. The proof must be personalized, given a (valid) validity and issued by an official authority/institution. The proof will be checked at the entrance – please have it ready along with a photo ID. Visitors with a severe disability aged up to 15 receive free admission. The same applies to a person accompanying a severely disabled visitor with B/H note in ID (max. one accompanying person each).

Annual passes cannot be issued for third parties and are not transferable. Annual passes for children can only be issued in the presence of at least one legal guardian. Also a proof of family status is required for each child (e.g. birth certificate, notification of child benefit). For every 15 school pupils, one adult chaperone receives free admission. In the case of special education, other personal restrictions may apply upon presentation of a corresponding school certificate. Nurseries: Valid Monday to Friday, upon presentation of a visitors' form. For every five children, one adult chaperone receives free admission.
