Additional aid reaches Kyiv

Our large shipment of over 20 tonnes of feed, veterinary supplies and vitamins has arrived safely in Kyiv.

Thanks to your donations, the giraffes, monkeys, birds and many other animals in Kyiv Zoo are now supplied with food. Our colleagues on site are also caring for pet dogs and cats that got left behind, and distributing pallets of feed to smaller surrounding zoos.

We have been overwhelmed by the commitment shown by our partners. We would like to thank DB Cargo and the entire team of the Deutsche Bahn “rail bridge” for helping us cope with this mammoth – or should we say “elephant” – task.

Our thoughts are with the zoos in Ukraine and we would like to thank all donors once again from the bottom of our heart.
