Car
There are many way to reach the zoo by car. You can choose your best route with a route planner.
Zoologischer Garten Station is well signposted – these signs take you to Hardenbergplatz where you will find car parks and the Lion Gate entrance.
You can find fee-based car parks around the zoo’s perimeter, but they are rarely unoccupied, especially on Hardenbergplatz, where there is frequent traffic congestion to and from the station.
So be a little more patient when looking for a parking space, or use one of the fee-based multistorey car parks on:
- Nürnberger Straße (two minutes from the Elephant Gate entrance and Aquarium)
- Budapester Straße (two minutes from the Elephant Gate entrance and Aquarium, five minutes from the Lion Gate)
